About Southside Baptist Church

We believe and affirm that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and the sole authority for our faith and practice. We voluntarily band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ committed to follow His teachings.

The purpose of this body shall be:

1. To maintain regular worship.
2. To proclaim the gospel message and encourage personal acceptance.
3. To cooperate in the effort to establish the Kingdom of Christ throughout the world by our prayers, our gifts and our service.
4. To promote Bible study and training for spiritual growth and Christian service.
5. To encourage involvement in Christian ministry, Christian fellowship, and Christian living in accordance with the principles taught in God’s Word.

About Etc

Here at Southside we call our student ministry department Etc which stands for Every Teen Connected. It is our goal at Etc student ministries to create an environment where middle and high school students can comfortably come to experience genuine Christian teaching, worship and fellowship in a positive, uplifting and fun environment. About The Student Minister

I, Ben Gray, was born in 1979 in Chicago Illinois and spent most of my early life growing up in suburbia. I moved to Georgia to attend Toccoa Falls College in 1997 where I majored in Family Ministries, minored in Camping and was a cheerleader for two years (man, that was fun!)

I’ve been the Student Minister here at Southside Baptist Church since January 2005. I’ve been married to the most wonderful woman on earth since 2003. Hopefully now that you know what I look like and you know a little about me you’ll be more comfortable the next time we meet.
